Singapore Work Passes

Foreign nationals who wish to work in Singapore need the appropriate work pass — you cannot work on a Short-Term Visit Pass. Work passes are separate from the entry visa (which is only pre-entry permission to travel and seek entry). Work-pass eligibility and conditions vary by role and are administered by the relevant Singapore authorities; confirm what applies to you through the official government guidance, and use the ICA guidance for the immigration side.
