How to apply for an Indonesia visa

Choose the right entry route
Check whether your nationality can enter visa-free, needs the Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA), or should apply for the Visitor Visa (e-Visa). Start with the official Directorate General of Immigration guidance to identify the right route.
Apply online through the official portal
The Visitor Visa is applied for through evisa.imigrasi.go.id and the e-VoA through molina.imigrasi.go.id. Use only these official portals — third-party sites are not the government service.
Prepare your documents
Prepare the documents the official application asks for and make sure your passport is valid. The exact list depends on the route and your situation — follow the checklist on the official pages.
Extending the e-VoA
According to the Directorate General of Immigration, the e-VoA can be extended once for a further 30 days at an immigration office in Indonesia. Follow the official process if you need to extend your stay.
