Applying online through the Thai eVisa system

Where a visa is required in advance, Thailand’s tourist, transit and non-immigrant visas can be applied for online through the official Thai eVisa system. This page explains the system in plain language; always use the official portal and confirm requirements with the official guidance.

The official Thai eVisa portal

Applications are made through the official Thai eVisa system at thaievisa.go.th. Use only the official portal — third-party sites are not the government service.

Which visas use eVisa

The tourist visa (stay not exceeding 60 days), the transit visa (not exceeding 30 days) and the non-immigrant visa (up to 90 days per entry) are applied for through the eVisa system, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Before you apply

Check your nationality’s requirements and the correct visa category on the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs pages first, so you apply for the right visa the first time.
