  • Express 72hrs service is available where offered
  • Priority 24hrs service is available at the London Premium Application Centre where offered.

Tracking Your Application

  • Mission applicants can track the status of their application by logging into their account dashboard or contacting the relevant Ghana Mission, Consulate or authorised application centre.
  • Status updates are posted in the applicant’s account dashboard, and approved eVisas are delivered directly to the applicant’s email inbox.

Delays and How to Avoid Them

  • Double-check that your documents meet Ghana visa requirements before submission.
  • Include proof of payment and appointment confirmation in your file.
  • Apply in time for the relevant processing route: standard eVisa processing is 96 hours, and Ghana High Commission London standard processing takes a minimum of five business days from the time the application is received at the Mission.
  • Ensure your Yellow Fever certificate is valid and legible.
  • Do not make non-refundable travel bookings until your visa is approved.

What to Do If Processing Is Delayed

  • For Ghana High Commission London applications, contact live chat support if it has been more than 7 business days with no update.
  • Check spam/junk folders for communication from the visa centre.
  • Provide your full name, passport number, and reference code when enquiring.
  • Do not submit multiple applications while one is in progress.

Collection & Delivery of Passport

  • Once approved, a mission visa may be stamped in your passport and returned via your chosen method, while an approved eVisa is delivered directly to your email inbox.
  • Bring ID and your collection receipt when collecting a passport in person.
  • Allow extra time for postal return where applicable; approved eVisas are delivered by email.
