Who needs a visa to Venezuela

Visitors visiting Venezuela must get a visa from one of Venezuela's diplomatic missions, unless they are from one of the nations that are exempt from obtaining a visa from the country. Visitors are expected to provide evidence of adequate finances to pay the cost of their stay as well as any documentation necessary for their subsequent destination.

Entry into Venezuela

Due to persistent concerns regarding COVID-19 and the security situation in the nation, the Embassy strongly discourages non-essential travel to Venezuela at this time. There are few commercial flights to and from Venezuela, and they may be altered or cancelled. At the point of departure, all travellers to Venezuela must present a valid Traveller Pass called Pase Viajero de Bioseguridad. This pass must be requested at least 72 hours before to arriving in Venezuela.

A travel itinerary, personal information, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test performed within 72 hours of arrival are required to apply for the pass. For a proof of COVID-19 vaccination to be valid, at least 14 calendar days must have elapsed since the last dose of a complete vaccination program. Evidence of a vaccine booster is required if more than 270 days have passed since the last dose of a complete vaccination program.

• Possess a passport valid for at least six months upon entry, with at least one visa page remaining vacant.
• Maintain evidence of sufficient funds.
• Hold documentation of your onward and return flights.
• Maintain documentation proving the reason of your travel.
• Hold all necessary travel paperwork for your future destination.

The following nations do not need a visa to enter Venezuela:

What To Do If Your Venezuela Visa is Refused
