Who it is for

Requirements
- Job offer / employment contract with a Ugandan sponsoring organisation
- Company / organisation registration and supporting documents
- Passport valid for at least 6 months and passport photograph
- Academic and professional qualifications where relevant
- Evidence that the role/skills justify hiring a foreign national
What you can do
- Live and work in Uganda in the sponsored role for the permit's duration
- Apply for dependant passes for close family members
- Renew the permit when it expires, subject to continued employment
How to apply
The employer/applicant applies online at visas.immigration.go.ug, uploads the required documents, pays the applicable fee, and receives an approval letter. The holder then reports to an immigration office or border for biometric capture and permit issuance.
