Applicants must demonstrate adequate financial resources to support their stay in Thailand without working or seeking public assistance. Proof of funds is a key component in ensuring visa approval.

Minimum Financial Requirements

  • Tourist Visa: Equivalent of £500–£1,000 available in personal funds.
  • Business / Work Visa: Proof of steady income or company sponsorship.
  • Student Visa: Tuition payment proof and living expense funds.

Acceptable Proof of Funds Documents

All financial documents must clearly display the applicant’s name and be issued by a verified financial institution. Visa Applications reviews each submission to confirm compliance with Thai consular requirements.
