Who needs a visa to Pakistan

Visitors visiting Pakistan are required to get a visa from one of the Pakistani diplomatic posts in their respective countries. There are many different types of visas available from Pakistani embassies overseas, with certain tourists being eligible for visa on arrival if they are coming as part of a group trip or for business. Pakistan now provides electronic visa application and electronic travel permission for the granting of visas on arrival, in addition to paper visa applications.

Applicants must normally apply for visas in their place of origin, but if they are lawful permanent residents of a third nation, they may be able to do so from that country as well.

Entry into Pakistan

All passengers over the age of 12 who can provide proof of vaccination to travel to Pakistan will not be required to provide a negative COVID test result prior to travel. Passengers aged 12 and older without vaccination documentation will be required to provide proof of a negative PCR test conducted up to 72 hours prior to arrival. Passengers under 12 years old are not required to show proof of immunisation or a negative PCR test. Please note that the majority of Afghanistan's land borders are closed, with the exception of the Torkham border crossing, which remains open to travellers with valid passports and Pakistani visas. The Pakistan-Afghanistan border crossings may close without warning. Before arriving in Pakistan, passengers are expected to download and register their information on the "Pass Track App." If you have not downloaded the App, you will be required to fill out a health declaration form.

In order to board domestic flights, those with a passport from a country other than Pakistan and who are at least 18 years old must present proof of vaccination.
