Applicants must demonstrate adequate financial resources to support their stay in Thailand without working or seeking public assistance. Proof of funds is a key component in ensuring visa approval.
Minimum Financial Requirements
- Tourist Visa: Equivalent of £500–£1,000 available in personal funds.
- Business / Work Visa: Proof of steady income or company sponsorship.
- Student Visa: Tuition payment proof and living expense funds.
Acceptable Proof of Funds Documents
- Recent bank statements (covering the last 3 months).
- Letter of employment or business ownership documentation.
- Credit card limit confirmation (if applicable).
All financial documents must clearly display the applicant’s name and be issued by a verified financial institution. Visa Applications reviews each submission to confirm compliance with Thai consular requirements.
