Romania Visa Documents Required (2025)

This page has been reviewed and verified by Michael Gibbons, Regulated Immigration Advisor, to ensure accuracy under current EU and Romanian immigration guidance. You can confirm current rates and costs through our Romanian Visa Application Guide.

To apply for a Romania Visa, all applicants must provide a complete set of supporting documents that meet Romanian and EU visa standards.
Incomplete or incorrectly formatted documentation is the most common reason for visa delays or refusals. The requirements differ depending on whether you apply for a short-stay (Type C) or long-stay (Type D) visa.
