Travellers who need to visit Romania for planned medical treatment, consultations, or health recovery can apply for a Romania Medical Visa. This visa permits short-term entry into Romania for the duration of the medical procedure, as approved by a registered Romanian healthcare provider. It is regulated under Government Emergency Ordinance No. 194/2002 and the Schengen Visa Code (EU Regulation 810/2009).
