• Proof of Financial Means: Recent bank statements, pay slips, or sponsor letter showing sufficient funds (see financial guidance).
• Accommodation Details: Hotel reservation or host invitation confirming where you will stay.
• Return Flight Booking: Evidence of your planned return or onward travel.

Additional Requirements by Visa Category

Tourist Visa

• Travel itinerary and accommodation confirmation.
• Letter explaining purpose and duration of stay.

Business Visa

• Invitation letter from a registered company or organisation in Iraq.
• Company registration certificate of the inviting entity.
• Business cover letter from your employer confirming purpose of visit.

Work Visa

• Official employment offer or contract approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Labour.
• Work permit or sponsor authorisation.
• Medical clearance certificate (if applicable).

Family Visit Visa

• Invitation letter from a resident family member in Iraq.
• Proof of relationship (birth or marriage certificate).
• Copy of inviter’s residence card or national ID.

Official or Diplomatic Visa

• Official letter from the sending government or organisation.
• Note Verbale or equivalent diplomatic communication.
