Marshall Islands Visa

The Marshall Islands’ visa policy in 2025 is based on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of your stay. Visa-Free Access

• Unlimited stay: Citizens of Micronesia, Palau, and the United States may enter visa-free for an unlimited period.
• 90 days within any 180-day period: Citizens of all European Union countries, the United Kingdom, and Taiwan.
• Several other countries, including Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and many others, enjoy visa-free access for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
• Other visa-free nationalities: The full list includes most EU countries, some Caribbean and Pacific nations, and select others. Always check with the nearest Marshall Islands diplomatic office for the latest list.

Visa on Arrival (VOA)

• Eligibility: Some sources report that select countries (such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and others) may obtain a visa on arrival for up to 90 days. However, most major Western countries are visa-free, not VOA.
• Important: For work or study, you must apply for a visa before you travel, regardless of nationality.

Advance Visa Required

• Travellers from countries not listed above must obtain a visa before departure from the nearest Marshall Islands Embassy or Consulate.

Entry Requirements
