Eligibility Requirements

• Valid passport (minimum six months’ validity beyond the intended departure date).
• Completed Mali visa application form, either online or paper-based.
• Payment or proof of visa fee submission.
• Recent passport-size photographs meeting embassy specifications.

General Documents Required for All Mali Visa Applications

• Original passport and photocopy of the main data page.
• Two recent colour passport-size photographs (white background).
• Completed and signed visa application form.
• Copy of flight itinerary or confirmed travel booking.
• Proof of accommodation in Mali (hotel reservation or host letter).
• Proof of sufficient financial means (bank statements, payslips, or sponsorship letter).
• Proof of payment of visa fees.

Additional Documents by Visa Type

• Detailed travel itinerary outlining activities and destinations in Mali.
• Travel insurance valid for the entire period of stay.
• Return or onward travel ticket.
• Official invitation letter from a Malian company or business partner.
• Business registration documents of both the applicant’s and host company.
• Proof of previous business dealings, if applicable.
• Letter of acceptance from a recognised educational institution in Mali.
• Proof of payment or funding for tuition and living expenses.
• Medical certificate confirming good health.
• Proof of family relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.).
• Letter of invitation or sponsorship from the family member in Mali.
• Copy of sponsor’s Mali residence permit or national ID.
• Confirmed onward ticket to a third country.
• Valid visa (if required) for the final destination country.
• Proof of funds for the transit period.

Translation and Certification Requirements

Documents issued in languages other than French or English must be translated by a certified translator. In some cases, the embassy may require notarised or legalised documents. Applicants should verify these requirements with the specific embassy handling their case.

Document Submission Guidelines

• All documents must be printed on A4 paper and arranged in the correct order.
• Electronic submissions (for eVisa applications) must be in PDF or JPEG format.
• Ensure that scanned copies are clear and legible.
• Do not staple or bind your documents unless specifically instructed to do so.
