Entry into Honduras

When you arrive at the port of entry in Honduras, you will be required to submit a few documents to establish your identification and eligibility to enter the country. These include:

• Your passport must be valid for at least six more months.
• Tickets to your home country or subsequent destination after leaving Honduras.
• Honduras Visa, if you are a citizen of a nation subject to the Honduran visa regime. Additional entrance requirements for minors (anyone younger than 21)
• If the youngster is going alone, both parents or legal guardians must authenticate and sign a letter of consent. If the child is travelling with only one parent, the other parent or legal guardian must validate and sign a letter of consent in advance.
