Who needs a visa to visit Dominica?

Citizens of Haiti and the Dominican Republic are required to have a visa. Visitors staying less than 24 hours on Dominica (including cruise ship passengers) do not require a visa to visit. To enter Dominica, U.S. citizens must have a valid U.S. passport. Visas are not necessary for periods of less than six months if you have an onward or return ticket, hotel confirmation, and proof of financial support.

Eligibility to apply for a Dominica visa

Processing time for Dominica visas

After submitting the Application Form, you will receive an approval letter within 14-28 days, and you will have 30 days to pay the WIN Visa Fee. Alternatively, you may submit an extension request.

If a payment extension is required, the reasons must be communicated by email within 30 days. If your request is approved, the payment period will be extended by an additional 30 days.

After your WIN Visa application is approved, you will have 90 days to arrive in Dominica.
