Cambodia visas
Whether you need a visa for Cambodia, and which type, depends on your nationality and the purpose and length of your stay. Short visits are handled through the official e-Visa portal (run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) or visa on arrival, while longer stays run on the Ordinary (E-class) visa and its extensions of stay administered by the General Department of Immigration under the Ministry of Interior. Working also requires a separate work permit and employment card from the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, and all arriving travellers complete the Cambodia e-Arrival declaration.

Who needs a visa to visit Cambodia?
All travellers. To enter or travel through Cambodia as a tourist, a visa is required. Visas for tourists can be obtained online or upon arrival. Arrival in Cambodia no longer requires a pre-arrival COVID-19 test, full COVID-19 immunisation card or certificate, or passenger health statement.
Entry into Cambodia
Tourists who intend to visit Cambodia may apply for an E-visa or a visa upon arrival. Fees, conditions, and required photographs are subject to change. Please visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's website for the most recent information.
All land borders between Cambodia and Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, and Cambodia and Vietnam are currently accessible. There are no COVID-19 restrictions on travel from Ireland to Cambodia. Passengers are not required to produce COVID-19 immunisation or testing certificates or to sign a Passenger's Health Declaration.

Who can visit Cambodia without a visa?
If you hold a passport from Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam, you can enter Cambodia visa-free for between 14 and 30 days, depending on your home country. Before entering Cambodia, visitors from all other countries are needed to have a valid visa.
