All U.S. citizens are required to obtain a visa before entering Angola.
Entry into Angola
All passengers travelling to Angola must have a negative or "not detected" result from a pre-departure COVID-19 RT test administered within 72 hours prior to boarding their flight.
All passengers must submit an Advance Passenger Information form (FRV Form) 72 hours prior to entry into Angola.
All incoming passengers are required to complete a quick COVID-19 test upon disembarking the aircraft. This examination is now free. Those who receive a negative result will be permitted admission but will be forced to self-quarantine for 10 days prior to having a second COVID-19 test. Passengers with a positive COVID-19 result will be quarantined immediately at a government facility for observation and additional testing.

Who can visit Angola without a visa?
Unless they come from one of the visa-exempt nations, visitors to Angola are required to obtain a visa in advance from one of the Angolan diplomatic missions or a pre-visa online.
A tourist visa is valid for 30 days and can be renewed once for an additional 30 days. It must be used within 60 days of its issuing date. Passports must be valid for nine months and have at least two blank pages. Transit without a visa is permitted for travellers continuing their journey to a third country on the same or first departing flight, provided they remain within the airport.
